How to Record Your Screen
- Start Recording: Click the big red "Start Recording" button.
- Select Source: A browser popup will ask what to share. Choose "Entire Screen", "Window", or "Chrome Tab".
- Enable Audio: To record system audio, make sure to check the "Share system audio" box in the popup. Toggle "Mic On" if you want to add voiceover.
- Stop & Save: Click "Stop Recording" when finished. Preview your video instantly and click "Download Video" to save it as a WebM file.

Is there a time limit?
No, there are no artificial time limits on your recordings. However, very long recordings (hours) may consume a lot of your device's memory (RAM).
Can I record system audio?
Yes. When selecting the screen to share, look for a "Share system audio" checkbox. Note that macOS may have limitations on capturing system audio from the entire screen; capturing a specific Tab is often more reliable for audio.
What format is the video?
We save recordings in WebM format, which is optimized for the web and offers high quality with smaller file sizes. You can play it in any modern browser or convert it to MP4 using our video tools.
